New content added to LexiComp patient education

Now both a part of Wolters Kluwer Health, Lexicomp and UpToDate® have partnered to provide new and enhanced patient education leaflets available in Lexicomp Online.

Lexicomp patient education leaflets have been updated with new content for conditions, procedures, and discharge summaries, as well as an enhanced Healthy Living section to include leaflets on diet, exercise, safety, and more. The new content is written at a lower readability level and often contains helpful illustrations where appropriate. 

Note that the patient education leaflets on drugs remain the same.

Benefits:

• 15% increase in the number of patient education leaflets to cover Conditions, Procedures, Discharge Instructions, and Healthy Living

• Improved content across all Conditions, Procedures, and Discharge Instructions

• All patient education leaflets are available in both English and Spanish
