Use the LexiComp Mobile App? See important update

Attention Lexicomp® Mobile Apps Users
In order to ensure that your Lexicomp app contains the most up-to-date information, it is important that you update your databases on a regular basis.

Users who have gone longer than two months between updates may not have been able to download all relevant changes and additions to their databases. To make sure you have access to the most current information available, we are releasing new versions of all Lexicomp mobile databases to bring everyone up to date.

What Do You Need to Do?
■
TODAY: We recommend that you update all of your databases as soon as possible. This is especially important if you have waited longer than two months between updates in the past.
■
GOING FORWARD: We are actively taking steps to better support data updates in the future. We recommend that you continue to update your databases at least once a week or when updates are listed as available on your app’s Update screen.

Updating Is Easy!
For iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch users:
■
Select the "Update" icon from the Lexicomp mobile app start screen.
■
On the Update screen, select the database(s) you wish to update. Then tap the "Update" button in the upper right corner of the screen.
■
Once the progress bars have all reached the end, your database(s) will be updated and ready to use.

For Android users:
■
Select the "Update" icon from the Lexicomp mobile app start screen.
■
On the Update screen, select the database(s) you wish to update. Then tap the "Begin Update" button at the bottom of the screen.
■
Once the progress bars have all reached the end, your database(s) will be updated and ready to use.

Please note: Some Lexicomp databases are large in size and may take several minutes to update, depending on the speed of your Internet connection. We recommend using a strong Wi-Fi signal when updating your databases.
